Dr. Tasha Farrar, MD
Dr. Farrar is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides evidence-based psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy services. She prefers to collaborate with therapists and the patient’s medical team. She values the importance of patient education and shared decision-making. In addition to prescribing medications, she also employs multiple non-medication strategies including nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, yoga, mindfulness, positive relationships, relaxation, and productive, meaningful pursuits. Dr. Farrar specializes in Reproductive Psychiatry in an outpatient setting. She also provides formal consultations to other providers on reproductive psychiatry issues. In 2018, she became one of the founding board members of the Wisconsin Chapter of Post-partum Support International. Since 2006 Dr. Farrar has lectured on a variety of psychiatric topics to primary care providers, therapists, students, and women's care specialists. She also consults with the Mosaic Family Health Clinic's residency training program.

Dr. Farrar founded Farrar and Associates Mental Health in 2020, and appreciates the support and encouragement she is receiving from friends, family, patients, colleagues, and the Fox Valley medical community.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, bonsai, gardening, yoga, and playing board games with her family. She also serves three cats who kindly allow her to live in their home.
Joelle Fellinger is a board-certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber in the State of Wisconsin. She has been providing psychiatric care to diverse populations since 2001. Her experience includes working in a large health care system in both inpatient but primary outpatient settings, most recently with a private outpatient mental health clinic.
Joelle has extensive experience in diagnosing and providing psychiatric medication management to adults with depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and sleep difficulties. She works collaboratively with mental health therapists to provide a team approach to care with the firm belief that medication management along with mental health therapy provide the best outcomes in care. Additionally, emphasis on healthy lifestyle practices is also supported in her holistic approach to treatment. Joelle strives to create a partnership with the client and involve that individual in the treatment planning as much as possible. Her patients have commented about her genuine warmth and caring nature and as someone who listens with understanding.
Joelle Fellinger, APNP
Joelle received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in 1996 and graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2001. As a native of the greater Fox Valley area, she grew up on a family owned dairy farm. She now enjoys the outdoors by gardening, walking her dog, Scout, and camping with her husband and 3 children. In her quiet time, she also enjoys singing, reading, and spending time with family.
Dr. Melissa J. Pecor, Ph.D
Dr. Pecor provides individual and group therapy for adults focusing on women’s health issues. One of her main specialty areas is working with women who are experiencing depression or anxiety in the prenatal postpartum period. Pregnancy and the first year with a baby can be more stressful than many people realize and is a time of transition for women and their relationships. Providing continued support, coupled with learning how to balance this new role and managing stress can really help moms adjust to the changes and enjoy this time with their baby. Her hope is that women can learn new skills and resolve issues so they can move on and enjoy a healthy life with their family.
Dr. Pecor believes the best part of her job is seeing women become more confident as mothers and individuals. She believes that experiencing a healthy pregnancy and the first year with a baby is not only important to a mom’s health, but also to her child’s well-being and long-term path. She views working with clients as a collaborative, active process. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and group therapy techniques to support and engage clients in addressing their identified issues.
Dr. Sherrie Kamm, Ph.D
Sherrie Kamm, PhD is a licensed psychologist specializing in child, adolescent, young adult, and pediatric medicine populations. She enjoys partnering with patients and their families to support healthy growth and development. She has expertise in working with children through young adults with both acute and chronic medical issues. Dr. Kamm utilizes evidenced-based interventions and creative approaches that honor a patient’s unique interests and strengths. She believes that parent-involvement is an important part of helping children reach their goals.
Before moving to the Fox Cities in 2020, Dr. Kamm provided therapy and consultation-liaison services at Children’s Hospital-Minnesota. Dr. Kamm’s clinical interests include coping with acute and chronic illnesses, mind-body issues, bereavement, and anxiety disorders. She has completed specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Kamm has worked as a psychologist since 2001 after earning her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Missouri St-Louis and completing her internship and postdoctoral fellowships at Children’s Minnesota. As a staff psychologist at Children’s Minnesota, she also served as a supervisor for doctoral interns within the APA-accredited psychology internship.
Dr. Steven Turchan, MD
Dr. Turchan is a board certified psychiatrist who joins Farrar and Associates with over 30 years of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric experience. Originally born in New York, Dr. Turchan moved to Wisconsin to practice in the Fox Valley. Having been trained in pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy, he provides care to adults requiring treatment for mood disorders, anxiety conditions, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder as well as psychotic disorders. He works in collaboration with therapists and medical care teams to provide the best care he can.
Dr. Turchan loves psychiatry because no two cases are the same. Drawing from his experience, he understands that there are rarely quick fixes in psychiatry, but the key is to keep trying to find the right combination. Dr. Turchan considers each of his patient’s stories like reading a great autobiography, with each session adding another chapter. He feels honored that patients are willing to share their stories, and to let him into their lives to help them.
Subsequent to his own health issues, Dr. Turchan understands the fear, anxiety and stress that patients experience. He believes it is important for the physician to be attentive, respective and responsive to facilitate quicker healing and better outcomes.
Dr. Turchan received a bachelor of Science from Brown University. He attended medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Turchan did his internship in internal medicine and his psychiatry residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. In his free time, Dr. Turchan enjoys hiking, painting, gardening, fishing, cooking, and mostly spending time with his family.
Linell Berkley, MSW, LCSW
Linell Berkley is a licensed clinical social worker and certified EMDR therapist. As a general practitioner she provides treatment for adults, couples and families. Linell specializes in treating anxiety, depression, infertility, insomnia, life transitions, marital and relationship concerns, family conflict, stress and trauma. Linell is eclectic in her therapeutic approach utilizing attachment based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), emotionally focused, family and marital, Gottman Institute method, integrative, mindfulness based, psychodynamic, schema therapy and trauma focused interventions.
Linell is passionate about helping clients identify how their past experiences shape their current ways of thinking, relating and coping. She offers a treatment style that is compassionate, collaborative and goal-oriented. Linell's empathy and honesty create a comfortable therapeutic environment where clients are empowered to improve the quality of their lives.
Linell received her Bachelor of Psychology degree and Master of Social Work degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Linell is certified through the EMDRIA International Association and has worked in the field of mental health since 2000. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, yoga, culinary adventures and catering to her two Chihuahuas who are convinced they are Great Danes.
Danielle Abraham, Licensed Professional Counselor
Danielle Abraham's goal as a therapist is to provide each person compassionate psychotherapy that leads to satisfying changes, restoring balance and living a more meaningful life. She believes that successful therapy takes transparency, commitment, mutual respect, and personal accountability.
Danielle provides individual, couples and family therapy for ages 14 and up. She treats anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, eating disorders, relationship distress, family conflict, behavior issues, life transitions and parenting. Her client-centered approach and pulls from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, family systems/functional family therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and mindfulness. She also has specialized training in family therapy.
Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Master's degree in science education specializing in clinical mental health counseling from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and dog, going on walks, traveling, reading, exploring new areas, and exercising.
Jennifer Grube, MS, NCC, CCTP, Licensed Professional Counselor
Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified EMDR Therapist. She is a compassionate, patient counselor who provides treatment in a confidential, comfortable, and safe environment for adults and older adolescents. Jennifer has special interest in treating trauma, stress management, abuse, assertiveness, anxiety and grief and loss.
Because our past experiences can affect our present difficulties, Jennifer utilizes EMDR to aid clients in effectively reprocessing disturbing memories or trauma so as to form more adaptive responses and live life to its fullest. She also utilizes other forms of therapy, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). Relaxation techniques and mindfulness are also used to aid in the counseling process. Jennifer guides clients toward exploring healthy ways to approach life and decrease stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms, while increasing energy and mood, and achieving personal goals and a sense of empowerment.
Jennifer earned her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling, with an emphasis in Community Counseling, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Jennifer is also certified through the EMDR International Association.
Kaitlyn Gitter, Licensed Professional Counselor
Kaitlyn is a licensed professional counselor who provides counseling services to children ages five and up, teens and adults. She provides treatment for eating disorders, body image concerns, parenting/behavior management, ADHD and emotion regulation in children, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Kaitlyn uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness.
Kaitlyn believes that therapy is the client’s space for self-exploration. In therapy, she prioritizes taking each individual’s unique identity and experience into consideration in order to work collaboratively toward goals. Kaitlyn strives to make clients feel heard and understood while also encouraging the self reflection and action that leads to lasting change. Kaitlyn is committed to her clients’ right to a private space for self-expression and growth where they are given genuine, honest feedback, and tools that support their goals.
Kaitlyn received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL. She has been practicing as a mental health counselor since 2012. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and being outdoors hiking, camping or gardening.
Teri Metropulos, Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC and State Certified Social Worker
Teri has practiced in the Fox Valley since 1990. Her work has spanned across generations, from birth to end of life, in settings including government, non-profit, and health care. Her career has given her the honor of holding the most intimate and sacred pieces of individuals' lives in a safe place while they find ways to make peace, initiate balance, restore their self-worth, and improve their quality of life.
Teri has the unique lens of having been a health care leader within a large health system as well as having served as a faculty Behaviorist with a Primary Care Medical Residency. These opportunities have provided her with the understanding of the demands and complexities of burnout and vicarious trauma experienced by health care professionals.
Teri has led a Physician Wellness Program for 6 years and has also led physician and nursing reflective practice groups. She has found that her passion lies with witnessing individuals achieve their optimal level of mental health, no matter the circumstances or suffering they are experiencing. She uses modalities such as exploration of self, learned coping mechanisms, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and psychotherapies that allow individuals to feel enlivened and able to engage in a meaningful life.
When not practicing her craft, Teri enjoys spending time with her husband exploring outdoor adventures for all seasons, visiting their adult children, going to Badger games, running, cooking, knitting, and especially finding any great venue to listen to music of all genres.
Marcy, BS: Clinical Support Lead
Marcy comes to us with many years of experience in psychiatry. Whether you need a refill or are struggling with a new medication, she is here to make sure that your concerns will be communicated to your provider. Marcy is also our intake specialist and can answer any questions regarding referrals to Farrar and Associates.
Marcy is a long time Wisconsin resident who enjoys road trips, reading and walking.
Kathy, RN: Psychiatric Nurse
Kathy joins our Psychiatric support staff with over 12 years of experience in outpatient mental health. Kathy values collaborating with patients in an individualized and compassionate manner. She is available to assist with scheduling, medication questions, and with communication between patients and providers.
Kathy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University. Her past experience includes Medical/Surgical Nursing, Home Care Supervision and Administration, and Home Health Aide program instruction and development.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys walking her dogs, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Kate, BA: Office Manager
Kate has degrees in Anthropology and French from Minnesota State University-Mankato. She loves learning about language and people. She began working at a mental health clinic in 2013. Throughout her years of experience working in this field, she has found it rewarding to provide support to clinicians so they can concentrate on serving their clients. She is happy to help with scheduling, refills, and any questions related to billing and insurance.
In her free time, she likes weight lifting, reading, and cuddling with her cats Moose and Bagheera.
Liz, BA: Clinical Support Specialist
Liz joins our team with an educational background studying Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and with years of administrative/clinical experience working within different hospitals and healthcare centers.
Liz loves dogs, reading, and getting to travel to fun destinations with friends. She also loves being able to enjoy the summer on the lake; swimming, jet skiing, and being on the boat with family.
Savanah, BS: Clinical Support Specialist
Savanah has a degree in Biology with special focuses in chemistry and cellular biology from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is motivated by bringing positive change to people's lives. She has worked in the healthcare field for several years working at various clinics and hospitals in the Fox Valley.
Savanah in her free time enjoys snuggling her fur babies and going on motorcycle adventures with her husband. She also loves reading, sewing, and cooking/baking.
Jim, BA: Information Technology
As a veteran of multiple IT departments, Jim comes to Farrar and Associates ready to vigilantly protect patient data and confidentiality. He finds great purpose in efficiently removing technical friction between clinicians and their patients, and also believes that a tidy cabling job is its own reward.
He enjoys a good run along the banks of the Fox River when he's not working.
